Walk DVRC is a pedestrianization plan to turn 1 km of Des Voeux Road Central in downtown Hong Kong into a park. The area is filled with banks, offices, and shops but the sidewalk is over congested to allow a sustainable and walkable downtown. The project called for a partial pedestrianization so that retail businesses can still deliver their goods during off peak hours. During peak hours, office workers and residents can enjoy the wider road as part of their park and walkway.

Vicky is an architect, entrepreneur, environmentalist, educator, futurist, and world citizen. His professional works promote sustainable cities and buildings. He volunteers to teach sustainable concepts to children. His work has won 25 awards related to sustainability. His projects are in 37 cities and 22 countries. He now owns 4 company in 2 countries. He believes design excellence can improve the way we live, work and play. Holistic architecture that combines art and science will make good design for the people and the environment.

Walk DVRC Ltd. is an NGO to promote walkability and livability with the goal of creating a healthier and more inclusive city in Hong Kong. The organization advocates for a fairer sharing of public space between pedestrians and cars with an initial focus in Central. Walk DVRC advocates the creation and management of vibrant streets to inspire more Hong Kongers to make more walking to be part of their daily routines. We serve the community in the areas of Traffic Management, Street Management, Health Benefits, Economic Benefits, and Social Benefits.
