This design adapts traditional architectural elements into a modern three-generational home, enclosing a central garden and creating an indoor-outdoor space through the use of fully opening glass doors, and giving a dynamic view from the living area, over the garden. The upper floor on the east side is for the second and third generation, and is designed to ensure privacy. The mono-pitched roofs are the standout feature of the design, and have glass panels between the girders to let in natural light from the north, while the south is shaded from strong summer sun.
