The second facade covers the upper part of the factory, giving the heavy concrete structure a certain lightness. While uncovered structural elements and exposed infrastructure in the lofty spaces remind its occupants of the industrial environment, the mid-century modern furniture and playful graphic artworks create an almost lofty atmosphere. The perforated facade is refracting the light at different angles according to the position of the sun, blocking out the heat while adding dynamics to the space and offering the occupants privacy from the outside.

KA Partners is an interdisciplinary creative studio founded in 2010 in Los Angeles with a branch office in Istanbul and aims to go beyond best practices to shape culture and define categories.
