In this double volume industrial building, a collaborative business between Frank Laurent Coffee Roaster and Lee Motors Bodyworks and Bespoke Motoring are made to run in great dynamic. The car detailing shop opted for an industrial vintage look while the cafe’s brand is leaning towards minimalism. With the challenge of merging the design styles together, the usage of bricks, concrete and design features such as metal arches or trusses were incorporate into the design to resemble a vintage industrial warehouse; while the colors, materials and furniture selections are of minimalist style.

Charles completed his Bachelor of Science (Architecture) Studies at the University of Science Malaysia and continue to achieve her Bachelor of Architecture at the same University, graduating in 2010. After graduating, he worked for two years in Melbourne to gained experience in both architecture and interior design field before back to Malaysia. Co-founder Charles joined Chaos Design Studio in 2016 after working at local architecture firm for 3 years and has been involve in many types of projects range from residential both individual and multi, through to commercial and mixed development.

As most organisations that have built a reputation on a strong foundation of trust and reliability, Lee Motors started out with humble beginnings way back in the 1950s. Soon, the company secured a Honda Motorcycle dealership from Boon Siew Sdn Bhd in the 1960s, and to complement the motorcycle business, it started trading motorcycle parts as well. The 1980s was an exciting era for Lee Motors, as new doors of opportunities were opened for us to venture into as we established an engine gasket manufacturing arm. In 1985, we obtained a Proton Car dealership. The crowning milestone for Lee Motors was when we became dealers for the prestigious line of BMW cars in 2003. Lee Motors never just quit there but yet keep on growing by obtaining Volkswagen dealership and also 3M Automotive in 2014. To expand our footprint, we start to establish another Volkswagen (3S) in 2016 and Honda (4S) in 2019. Over the years we have not only forged successful dealerships with esteemed automobile brand names but also bonded well with our customers. So much so, that they have come to trust and rely on our services, and as a result, customer loyalty has grown from one generation to the next. After a decade or so, the company grew in strength and expanded its vision to be involved in the dealing of cars. It was during this time that Lee Motors made a milestone move to procure a Honda Car dealership from Kah Motors Sdn. Bhd. in the 1970s.
