This project is located in a district with a century old banyan tree. The designer considered this project as a new type of store influenced by electronic commerce. Their main interventions are opening the facade to the block, and forming a circular space combined with banyan tree. These actions redefine the relationship between the semi outdoor space with banyan tree, as well as the relationship between architecture and street. In this design they also provide a leisure space for daily life of community.

Yi Xiao is an architect working in China after he achived the master degree in Politectnico Di Milano. He teaches architecture in an university and practices in his hometown in the same time. This experience balance his social activities with academic value. He believes the meaning of architecture is helping, companying and sharing with the people who live with and to create a better environment for live.

Atelier Yi is a design studio found by Mr.Yi Xiao in 2017 after he graduated from Politectnico di Milano . After he come back his Hometown in 2018, This studio was set in Architecture School of Fujian University of Technology where Mr. Yi Xiao was teaching in.
