The desire for serenity initiated Monologue - a collection consists of portable pop-up spaces that allows us to temporarily withdraw attention from distorted thoughts and have genuine conversations with ourselves. 'Monologue' explores transformable garments that allow the wearer to quickly self-isolate in order to regain control and stability. garments structures referenced children's pop-up book, with sceneries that draw the readers into its imaginative world, the collection aims to achieve the same effect and to transform the wearer into their own tranquil head space.

Joyce Li is a Parsons School of Design graduate whose work debuted at New York Fashion Week in 2021. Her graduate collection was featured in Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar UK, Schön! Magazine, ELLE Taiwan, Vulkan, and more. Known for her interactive and transformable designs, Joyce invites wearers to personalize each piece, forging a deeper connection with their clothing. Her aesthetic blends sculptural silhouettes, clean construction, and a soft, muted palette to evoke a sense of quiet elegance.
