This interactive pop-up book follows seven animals enjoying their favorite snacks, each with a 3D pop up fold showcasing their distinct eating style. Each pop up was designed with a single page cut out, and a second backing page revealing the inside of each mouth and adding structural integrity. This simple design, combined with paper collage illustrations, brings life to each animal. The text includes eating sounds via Japanese onomatopoeia, encouraging the reader to open and close the pages as the animals munch away.

Keitaro Sugihara is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Tokyo. His playful style incorporates hand-cut collage and recycled materials. From picture books to hospital waiting rooms, he aims to evoke joy and whimsy in his work throughout various mediums. He partners with clients big and small to tell their stories. His work has been recognized by the Bologna Children's Book Fair (Italy) and Kids Design Award (Japan).

He works with collage and design. In recent years he has been dealing with wider ranges, such as a work of art direction of spatial design. Works that combine various materials, like the orchestra gathering of odds and ends, just like a harmony of fun and lively tunes.
