The three information graphics serve as a basis to introduce the topic of the Lazarus-Effect. They include "The Six Major Mass Extinctions", "Death Watch of the Species", as well as an information graphic of the "Local Fern Plants and Flowering Plants" (based on the Rote Liste, 2018). The Lazarus Effect is based on the theme of the Lazarus-Effect, as coined by paleontologist David Jablonski. This pertains to the unintentional rediscovery (by accident, through expedition or through relocation projects) of a previously lost or considered extinct form of life.
Lara Wilkin born in Gladbeck, Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) is a Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Scenographer from Germany who is specialized and focused on profounded and social Illustrations and Vector Illustrations full of details. She got the Bachelor of Arts in “Design-Media-Communikation“ and the Master of Arts at the subject area of “Scenography and Communication“ at the University of Applied Science and Arts - Fachhochschule Dortmund. Information graphics are also a great area of interest for Ms. Wilkin. She likes to take the viewer of their work on a journey, provocative trips, insightful and informative trips - trips into the details.
Lara Wilkin is a graphic, scenographic and communication designer from Germany. She is specialized in illustration, conception and visual solutions. Social issues, environmental awareness and science are important to her. With her work, she would like to encourage other people to get a deeper insight into our environment.
