Walky is a unique chair that materializes personality and interaction from a new refreshing perspective. Crystallization of motion happens from the idea of capturing the action of a person walking, which multiplied within a space, provides dynamism, and a sense of social activity. Walky is a chair that adds character to any place and expresses itself uniquely to every user by evoking memories and social connections thanks to its playful walking shoes. Walky comes to transform the personal interaction between people and chairs into a unique dialogue and memorable moment.

Armando Mora Medina is a Designer pursuing an MFA in Furniture Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He believes that furniture must have a fascinating conversation and interaction with its users. Born in Mexico, he earned a BFA in Architecture at the ITESM Campus Guadalajara and did an Erasmus program at the ETSAB in Barcelona. Following his studies, he co-founded a local architecture firm in his native city where he learned how to lead and manage responsibilities. Years later, he received a furniture design certificate at FIDI in Florence, which made him understand he had a big passion as a designer expanding his capabilities beyond architecture. Thus, he continued his path by leaving the firm he co-founded and started working for the renowned company AHA Universo in the areas of architecture, product, and furniture design. Due to the learning and professional path he's been through, he has explored the interaction between architecture, furniture, and humans and developed a playfully innovative design approach combined with exceptional craftsmanship skills.

Viviane & Armando Design is an emerging design studio that believes in the power of fun and movement. It seeks to give life to the ordinary, causing the public to smile; hence, it designs bold objects with elegance and style. Viviane and Armando met as students on the first day of their BFA Architecture Program in Guadalajara, Mexico. Furniture design began as a hobby after they got married. However, they soon realized they needed further knowledge to change the "Not Possible" to "Yes we can." Therefore, they decided to seek an MFA in Industrial and Furniture design at SCAD. Today, V&A Design looks for creating authentic experiences through unexpected movement and change to bring life. V&A Design is not merely a coincidence with the iconic V&A Museum. Viviane and Armando wish to commemorate and continue Victoria's and Albert's passionate story of supporting and acknowledging each other and who trusted in the power of creativity and design.
