Standly Bao is a assistive device for workers who need to go through long period of standing, keeping them in fine standing posture and mental state, at the same time having the same mobility as standing. With three points pressure method, pressure of lower limbs can be reduced, thus keeping workers from developing wrong standing posture. When the device is folded up, it gives back the space to narrow working space such as counters in bar or department store.
Ming-Hsiu, Lee and Jui-Chung, Hu are undergraduate students studying product design in NTUST. They focus on improving user experience and product aesthetic really much, and they are passionate about making positive impacts to the world. "Delivering a design that can help thousands is literally turning a designer imagination into superpower." this quote is what they deeply believe. The reason for them to study product design is to solve problems of society while having fun, and they hope they will have the chance to collaborate with as many people as they can in the future.
It was the graduation project of Ming-Hsiu and Jui-Chung in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and was consulted by their professor Sherman Lin. They spent about 7 months to developed the project. During the process, they were also consulted by physical therapist, Ryan Luan, from National Yang-Ming University. This project was aimed to help the mass population in the service industry who suffered from long hours of standing in their workspace.
