Grand Children Palace is an early learning center which helps children to develop various skills through different programs. The project inspiration came from the Grand Palais due to the special arch structure. Different from traditional learning center which is full of classrooms, the center aims to provide varied events, classes and activities like sports to children. Lastly, Royin Studio planned minimum functional area and designed an open space on purpose in the middle of the center not only save budgets but also left children free space to play with imagination.

Royin Studio is a design lab specially in interior design, architecture design, furniture design and design strategy. We gather talented designers, highly-skilled technicians and problem solvers from all disciplines for a reason to make unique designs. With profound passion and tenacious endeavors, the studio always employs both original and unconventional concepts to practices of space, object and art. Royin Studio was founded by Roy Yin officially in China in 2017. For more than three years’ practice, the studio has completed more than 20 interior projects in 9 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing etc. In China, most built projects are designed with limited time in order to meet the high-speed development. Without exception, our projects are also in face of the same situation that requires less construction time and less cost. Therefore, each time we design a new project, we firstly check out of which could be preserved and demolished on site. In such condition, we are still seeking new experience coming from the extreme situation or extreme way of thinking for the sake of a difference in the world of spatial design. We believe constraints are the best way to innovation. Recently, Royin Studio founded Regular Concept, a new brand to meet the criteria of rapid development of China, aiming to use modular design and replicable concept to refine a better environment in future. Royin Studio will keep focusing on unique design and academic research, at the same time Regular Concept will be more into practice and design trend.
