The SS Navigator was born out of the passion for marine style timepieces. They are equipped with a host of marine - inspired features and designed under this influence which embodies the beautiful atmosphere of life at sea. The main elements of nautical theme as seen on watch dials are nautical chart and teak deck. The design of mechanical watches eliminates the need to use and replace batteries, reducing the carbon footprint on the earth. For this reason the SS Navigator is powered by mechanical automatic tourbillon movement.

Martin Iglody, watch designer. Born in Kosice - Slovakia and living in Cork - Ireland. The great appreciation for watches was something developed much later on in his life. Martin converted his strong watch enthusiasm and his graphic design ability to artistic creativity of timepieces and continue to do so from 2016. In 2017 he founded MD studio for purpose to materialize his designs to final product. As a independent watch designer works with talented watchmakers and reliable watch manufacturers in Europe and Asia. His eye for watch design, knowledge of watches and understanding of manufacturing costs gives him a unique perspective and ability to understand the entire process of transforming watch design into a finished product.

The MD - Martin Design watch design studio was founded by Martin Iglody in 2017 - Cork, Ireland. Martin has always been passionate about all aspects of watch design. And it was this passion that inspired him to create his own collection of exceptional timepieces that push the boundaries of conventional aesthetics.
