The mission to design the guesthouse is in a way that bring the guests an immersive experience of art. The concept of this guesthouse is by using brass element and abstract geometric shapes to create a new Art Deco style guesthouse and integrate with Jiangnan elements, walls in dark blue, furniture and sofas in red and orange,curtains with brass colour at the bottom part in order to present a combination of Chinese and Western luxury taste space.

Xu Chen was born in Nanjing, China. In 2014, he graduated from University of Florence, department of architecture (design orientation) with a full score of master's thesis, and a total score of 108/110. Currently, he is a doctoral candidate at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His research area is product design and innovation method research.

The company is established by the owner of the guesthouse. It mainly manages the daily management of the Artfarm Guest house, the scope of other business includes: planning activities (temporary exhibition, baking training, wedding services, small salon etc).
