Global Design Patronage
If you are living in a less privileged country, as understood by GDP per Capita statistics, then we will help you with full or partial financial sponsorship for sponsorship of your entry to A' Design Awards.

For people coming from less privileged countries, who themselves are not wealthy, we have five (5) special financial support initiatives that are full nomination sponsorship or partial sponsorship depending on several factors.

Eligibility for Global Patronage
Before, you could understand if you are eligible, please follow these three steps: First, you need to upload your work for free and get free preliminary score. Second, you need to find “List of Countries by GDP (PPP) per Capita” data, which not just lists countries but also territories, there should be about 226 or so entries listed. Third, if you are affluent, wealthy or rich, please do not make use of this initiative, the purpose of the Global Design Patronage initiative is to make the A' Design Award & Competition more ethical, more fair and thus more prestigious by making the accolades more accessible to outstanding designers coming from less prosperous countries who may benefit highly from no strings attached financial support for nominating their work, without any further fees.

Top 20%
If your country is listed within top 20% of countries (that would be for example, say from 1 to 45th positions), from the perspective of the Global Design Patronage initiative you are considered coming from a wealthy country and thus normally no special financial support would be provided however not only you may be eligible for other types of support we list here but also we understand and agree that not all entities from a rich country are affluent themselves, and as such, we would provide you with a discounted entry possibility to nominate your works for A’ Design Award consideration with digital entry method, if you obtain a preliminary score of eight (8) or higher.You may make use of this initiative only once. When you win, if you win, you will be happy to know there are no further fees, so the digital nomination ticket would be your sole expense.

Bottom 80% to 60%
If your country is listed within bottom 80% to 60% of countries (46th to 90th positions), and if you are not affluent yourself, if you obtain a preliminary score of eight (8) or higher, you are eligible for up to 10% discount to obtain digital edition nomination tickets with lower pricing. You may make use of this initiative only once. When you win, if you win, you will be happy to know there are no further fees, so the digital nomination ticket would be your sole expense.

Bottom 60% to 40%
If your country is listed within bottom 60% to 40% of countries (91st to 135th positions), and if you are not affluent yourself, if you obtain a preliminary score of eight (8) or higher, you are eligible for up to 20% discount to obtain digital edition nomination tickets with lower pricing. You may make use of this initiative only once. When you win, if you win, you will be happy to know there are no further fees, so the digital nomination ticket would be your sole expense.

Bottom 40% to 20%
If your country is listed within bottom 40% to 20% of countries (135th to 180th positions), and if you are not affluent yourself, if you obtain a preliminary score of seven (7) or higher, you are eligible for up to 40% discount to obtain digital edition nomination tickets with lower pricing. You may make use of this initiative only once. When you win, if you win, you will be happy to know there are no further fees, so the digital nomination ticket would be your sole expense.

Bottom 20%
If your country is listed within bottom 20% of countries (positions 181st and lower), and if you are not affluent yourself, if you obtain a preliminary score of seven (7) or higher, you are eligible to request a complimentary, free of charge digital edition nomination tickets that could be used for nominating your work. This initiative may be used only once. When you win, if you win, you will be happy to know there are no further fees.

Get started: To benefit from one of these initiatives, first upload your work for free, get your free and confidential preliminary score and then finally contact our support with your Design ID, Profile ID and Country Name and the Numeric Position of your Country within the “List of Countries by GDP (PPP) per Capita” and also send this page URL as reference; we will review your case and provide you with discounts or complimentary nomination tickets based on the information you provided.
