#305: Will there be one winner or five winners for a design award category?
There will be multiple design award winners for each category as explained in the guidelines and methodology sections. The number of award recipients depends on the number of entries; if there are more design submissions in a given year, there will be more design awards, furthermore the award jury can decide to increase the percentage of award winners if for example in a given year there are more qualified entries, likewise the jury can also withhold entries. In each category it is expected to have a mix of platinum, gold, silver, bronze and iron design award winners. The number of platinum and gold design award winners are about 1-3% of all submissions.
