About Maan Sydney Design Studio : Anna is a Swedish fashion designer, furniture designer and trend forecaster living in Sydney. She has held numerous leading design positions within global fashion companies world wide, spending her life in Paris, Stockholm and Hong Kong previous to her role as Creative director for her own design studio Maan in Sydney, that she started together with designer Mac Nordman in 2024. Anna has always had a passion for furniture design and interior. Growing up in an architect family in Sweden the inspiration and understanding of materials, colors and proportions has always been there. Her pieces are elaborated but also straightforward and timeless. Mac has a background within industrial and furniture design in Australia. Having collaborated with luxury brands in store design and been featured on the set design of numerous international major movie productions. Mac and Anna both have their roots in the clean lines and functionality of Nordic design and find their inspiration in the beauty of natural materials and light. Maan focus on sustainability in everything from how the materials are produced to creating pieces that are timeless.
