About Kaining Wang : My name is Kaining Wang. I am a concept artist based in Los Angeles, California with a passion for storytelling in animation and video games. My works are featured in Society of Illustrator West, Infected by Art, Ijungle, ADC award, 3x3 international Award, Communication Arts etc.
During my free time, I like to go exploring new food places around the area, visit antique shops and practice kick boxing. I also enjoy watching my two cats fighting and acting silly.
I firmly believe in the power of storytelling in art. I think it is how human made art can build connection with the audience. My inspiration often draws from folktales or mythologies in combine with what happens in our world. In blending elements of folklore with the pressing issues and current events, I want to create art that is both timeless and timely, offering poignant reflections on our humanity
