About Qihang Fan : Qihang Fan is an award-winning Product Designer based in Naples, Florida. He currently serves as a Product Designer at Arthrex, a global leader in minimally invasive surgical technology, where he leads the design of intuitive, user-trusted, and effective experiences for high-stakes products. With a multidisciplinary background in computer science at the University of Pennsylvania and digital design at SCI-Arc, Qihang translates advanced technologies into inclusive experiences that support diverse user needs across healthcare and beyond. He has delivered preoperative planning and intraoperative surgical software experiences that improve surgical precision and support better outcomes for over 50,000 orthopedic patients annually. Qihang’s work has been recognized with over 30 international awards, including the iF Design Award, C2A Best of the Best Distinction, the GOOD DESIGN Award, and UX Design Awards. His designs have been featured in GDUSA Magazine, K-Design Yearbook, and the Indigo Book of Design, and his perspectives have been shared through interviews with the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), International Design Interview, and other leading platforms. He also brings extensive experience as a juror for international design awards and programs, including the Orpetron Web Design Awards.
