View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Zi Quan LimAbout Zi Quan Lim : Zi Quan Lim is a Malaysian student currently pursuing his Bachelor degree in Design Communication in Sunway University, Selangor, Malaysia. Zi incorporates mainstream pop music and motion graphics together to create a benchmark of his own visual images project. His passion in research helps encompass and strengthen his design process. His final college diploma project ‘134340’ was published in The One Academy gallery and submitted in 2019 Kancil Awards, a Malaysia annual advertising awards competition, which garnered him a Silver prize. He recently completed a 12-month internship in the U.S. Embassy Kuala Lumpur to help contribute creative graphics and ideas for their social media content during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Art is my sanctuary and hellscape because it is everywhere we go. Whether the art is moving or still; virtually or analogously; good or bad intentions; biologically or spiritually, humans are the artists. Without us, there wouldn’t be an evolution of art in different inputs, outlets and platforms. We need to observe the things around us or in the digital realm because that’s where our creativity ignites in order for us to give out unique motives and express art artistically.
