Before returning to Japan, for a new architectural adventure, he stayed in the United States for more than 15 years. He graduated from the Harvard University (MAUD) in 1995 and founded Workshop Architects Inc. with his friend in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1997 after winning the project of Student Union, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh by competition. He pursued contextually, environmentally, and socially responsible Architecture which hopes to give meanings and inspirations to the society. He is also enthusiastic in using sound to be the narrative of the stories of architecture which goes beyond architecture.
