EDUCATION:
Mr. Mauch earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering (2001) and Mechanical Engineering (1988) from Marquette University and UMASS-Lowell respectively. He also has a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1990).
EXPERIENCE:
Craig Mauch is the Director, Product Design in the Health and Life Science group at MPR Associates which provides product development services for medical device, biopharmaceutical, and other life science companies. Mr. Mauch has 25 years of experience in product development including design, software development, circuit board design, systems engineering, and controls. The principal focus of his recent work has been directing the industrial design and embedded systems resources at MPR to develop medical devices that factor in the best in design practices. Work also includes integration of mobile platforms into medical devices to enrich the user experience by providing machine to machine (M2M) connectivity between devices and cloud based systems.
Mr. Mauch has also been instrumental in developing MPR’s medical device quality control procedures for software development and risk management, and R&D efforts into embedded technologies which include mobile devices, M2M, Cloud Systems, iPhone and Android applications.
