Her work combines a background in graphic design with technology and user-centered design thinking. Raphael currently works at IPM Group Multimedia, where it is responsible for all phases of the UX process, from concepting and information architecture to wireframing and prototyping. Raphael collaborates with visual designers and developers throughout the lifecycle of a project to help them meet DH / Lalibre / ParisMatch high standards for usability and design. Raphael has created products and experiences for a wide range of brands in music, technology, fashion, media, and nonprofit.
Her work has been recognized by Prix de la Presse Belfius 2017, 2018, 2019 and
Prix du Parlement de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles 2020.
When users see my creations, everything has to be intuitive, easily understandable, functional. I like things simple, not too confusing and beautiful. I project myself a lot into the user's skin. I'm the user of my creations myself, for example when I create a media site or a brand application.

EDUCATION:
I studied visual arts and then design in Brussels. I also took night classes to become a business manager.
EXPERIENCE:
I started in a communication firm specializing in advertising. Before taking on new challenges, I joined another communication firm in Montreal. I then returned to Brussels to join the media group IPM, which owns two major national newspapers, where I am a designer.
AWARDS:
I developed three sites that won the prestigious Belfius prize (2016 for La Libre Belgique, 2017 for La Dernière Heure, 2018 for Paris Match Belgique), which rewards the best journalistic productions, both in substance and form. The project developed for Paris Match was also awarded the prize of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
PRESS APPEARANCES:
I regularly create visuals, promotional campaigns and websites for the different entities of the IPM group: La Libre Belgique, La Dernière Heure, Paris Match Belgique, DH Radio, Continent-Insolite, LaLibre Voyage, Logic-Immo, Betfirst, the advertising agency... These creations are promoted on the sites and in the newspapers of my company.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Our publications are only intended for a French-speaking audience, so I only work in French.
COMPUTER LITERACY:
For my prototypes, I work exclusively with Sketch. For some promotions, for both print and web publications, I also use the Adobe suite. I also create animations with After Effects and Rotato. And for UX tests, I use Principle and Protopy.
COURSES, SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS::
I train trainees on site design and development so that they master good coding practices.
HOBBIES:
I am running, surfing and drawing.
CLIENTELE:
As an employee, I only work for the different entities of the IPM Group.
