As design is an agent that transforms reality thus, it must relates technology with the spirit of a place, creating a new culture of artefacts able to provide emotions and knowledge in people's lives. With this philosophy in mind, handicrafts can be a structure that combines new production technologies, joining forces to define new possibilities for local production, which demands to survive in the global scenario.
