But design is also the chance to assume responsibility and to take decisions. The purpose and importance of design has changed over the past decades. It’s not anymore only about aesthetics, human-centered well-being or optimizing functionalities. It is about the awareness of the impact of everything we do, what we create, what we produce, what we utilize and what we dispose of, as part of a larger (and limited) environmental system.
