About Michelle Reis : I’m Michelle Reis, Founder and Creative Director of MR Studio. I was born in Brazil and raised in Portugal, and that mix of South American and European cultures has deeply influenced my creative identity and the way I approach design. I started my professional journey in Communication and Graphic Design, where I worked for over eight years. But my passion for architecture and interior design never faded — it was always there, pushing me to explore more. Eventually, I decided to follow that passion fully and went back to school to study Interior Design. That choice completely changed my life. My aesthetic is best described as contemporary, timeless, elegant, and modern. I focus on blending pure interior architecture with refined, thoughtful design. I always prioritize quality, combining natural materials with carefully chosen statement furniture pieces to create spaces that feel beautiful, functional, and long-lasting. I truly believe that designers have a powerful role in shaping not just the spaces we live in, but also how we live — and how sustainably we live. I'm always researching innovative construction techniques, sustainable materials, and new products that can elevate the quality of my work and enhance the experience of the spaces I create. For me, design is about more than aesthetics — it’s about creating environments that promote well-being, support sustainability, and reflect a deep respect for craftsmanship and timeless beauty.
