She is also a Photoshop Retouching specialist and has extensive experience working in FMCG markets. Rebecca spent many years gaining valuable experience at some of Auckland’s leading design agencies, before stepping out to form Kotare in 2012 and is now dedicated to helping clients build successful brands and businesses.
Fine art to me is unconstrained artistic expression. An artist’s work is open to interpretation by the viewer and is meant to provoke thought and emotion. It does not confirm to rules or boundaries. Good graphic design however, is a methodical and researched process. It should not only be aesthetically pleasing and creative, it needs to function, be effective and solve problems. Reducing environmental impact and sustainability is an important responsibility.
