He is not only a Dean of Chinese Clinic, also a president of FineHerbs Corp. With more than 24 years clinical treating disease experience, Dr. Yung-Li Chen make the professional medical knowledge into civilian health, and produce two types of product: one is herbal tea, the other is herbal soap. He sincerely hopes that everyone can easily keep healthy from drinking herbal tea and bathing with herbal soap.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Yung-Li Chen is also a vice-editor of Taiwan textbook ‘Chinese-Western Disease name Contrast Dictionary’, and was a health columnist of United Daily News and Liberty Times. He writes a lot of article about treating diseases and the relationship of herbs and health.
what do you think when you think about design and art? What is your perspective.
Due to my original job is a doctor, I think the design is a little like ‘prescription medication’. Before prescribing, I need to collect many useful information from my patient, therefore I could make a nearly correct prescription. The process of collecting patient’s information is somekind ‘ Design’, that I describe it as ‘Medical Design’. How many grams of medicine I need to prescribe ? What kind of medicine I need to choose? I think it is ‘ART’.
With basic medical training knowledge, and add the feeling of patient’s health condition, every doctor will do the almost perfect prescription. That is why I design this work ‘New Hope Seed’. After watering the bottom’s seed, you can wait and see the sprouting. It is so amazing, like the life, simple and full of surprises. In my opinion, this process is art. Let the life to be full of surprises is art. And the art’s purpose is just to make the life to be more beautiful.
