He believes the core of design is to solve problem by observation user's lifestyle and their interaction with objects, brings minimalist aesthetics while delivering convenient features to improve people's life. To build up his own design philosophy of simplicity, Anthony Chen is also a practitioner of meditation and Tai-Chi, for seeking the answer of ideal balance between human and environment is an unlimited journey to him.
In Taoism, "Body-soul Unity" emphasize an idea of integration of any form and its content.In design, how people use a product could define how it might look like.By observing and then fulfilling people's need, sculpturing new creativity is possible.
