She earned a BHE from Ewha Woman's University, a MA from London College of Fashion and both a Ph.D and a MHE from Seoul National University and worked as a visiting scholar at both Cornell University and Kent State University.
She is a fashion designer and fashion illustrator for a number of fashion exhibitions, and also the author of articles and books about fashion culture, fashion criticism, fashion design education. Her recent interest focuses on sustainable fashion and digital technology.
To pursue for a fashion design, which combines a creative concept or an innovative technique with commercial feels.
