View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Luciana Duque Pedro GalasoAbout Luciana Duque Pedro Galaso : Luciana Duque's trajectory as a designer has always been related to the use of natural raw materials, such as wood, steel, glass and fabrics in the production of furniture and objects, in a way that would preserve the environment. At that moment, she came across an enormous amount of leftovers, which aroused his attention to the concept of upcycling. It also came the possibility of creating specific lines, sculptures and objects with the reuse of those materials. This concept in her vision is the design of the future, where people will come increasingly and more with the reuse of materials. It is really important for people to have conscience of the environment preservation.
Art is an activity related to the aesthetic manifestation of various languages, such as architecture, drawing, painting, sculpture, etc. For me art is a free way of seeing the beautiful and pictorial world in which we live. Art is subjective. It depends on people's interpretation. The art is evolved with the human being, from rock age, when the first artistic manifestations appeared through the drawings found in the caves. Art demonstrates how simple and beautiful any trace can be, even if it is to demonstrate that moment we are passing.
Over time, art has become more sophisticated as new technologies emerge. Art demonstrates the evolution of humanity, its emotions, its feelings, its culture.
Design is an integral part of an artistic manifestation. It is the capacity of the human being to create all the things that surround us. Making an analogy, in the Paleolithic era, design was already manifested in objects created for hunting and security. Today, even computers are capable of making art.
