She is known for culturally significant designs that serve as powerful tools to celebrate the beauty of the collective human experience. The work of MYKD has been highlighted in numerous publications including the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Chicago Tribune. Mikyoung was named as an AD innovator by Architectural Digest and has been awarded with design excellence honors from ASLA, the AIA, the GSA, and IFLA.
