The 'Why' behind this is people - by preserving a healthy environment in which to live and grow we can help to give everyone a fair chance in life.
This is a difficult question to answer.
Design = Art + Function
While I recognise the value of art, not least the simple joy that it can generate, if something has form but serves no practical function then I consider it art. But design can carry such strong form that it almost becomes art itself.
