With workshops in San Francisco and London, UMC designs and builds custom motorcycles for individual clients and in partnership with brands including GQ, Ducati, Triumph, Yamaha, Moto Guzzi, Harley-Davidson, and Zero.
Eccles is a professional industrial designer, trained at the prestigious Royal College of Art. During his 25 year career he has worked with IDEO, Fitch (Omnicom), Arnell (WPP), Conran, and Native for clients including Alessi, Pfizer, Kartell, Ford, TAG Heuer, Samsung, and Nike. His work spans industries and categories from service design and packaging, to consumer electronics and concept cars. He has won numerous international accolades including Business Week, D&AD and IDSA Awards.
