About Alessia Pagotto : Co-founder of Studio Sostanza, a design studio based in Torino, Italy. STATEMENT OF ART:"We are interested in the matter and its relations with the environment, the society and the individuals. We think experimentation is a source of design sparks. Our research is about finding new ways to combine materials and technical languages". We firmly believe that the best results can be obtained by using as few resources as you can, to their full potential. We believe that working in direct contact with the material is the best way to solve three-dimensional problems. In our laboratory design becomes a practical matter. We’re interested in the perceptional and therapeutic perspectives of the matter. The sensorial language is a key resource to emprove the interaction with products and to give it value and dignity.
