About Arturo Campos : Arturo Campos is an important architect in Mexico, he studied for a doctorate in acoustic architecture in Barcelona and worked on Gaudí's Sagrada Familia in Barcelona from 1999 to 2002. STATEMENT OF ART:In Mérida, Mexico, he has had his architecture and design office for 20 years.The maximum achievements of Arturo Campos are prizes in biennials of national and international architecture in countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, England or Italy. His architecture always seeks to be part of helping society, solving individual or urban social problems, designing and building spaces with comfort as well as helping to develop different urban planning plans and architecture committed to the environment. Design in architecture is make a dream happening; is create a sculpture to live. Design in architecture is art and science. As an art, architecture design has to be beautiful for the people how is going to live there and has to be functional too because they are going to do many activities in the building. Architecture is sculpture to live… As an acoustic architect, architectural design takes in count sounds too. Architecture sounds and people listen!. Sounds of materials, sounds of landscape, sounds of people living the building all of them make the sounds of architecture.
