About Elizabeth Kelly : Elizabeth Kelly has been designing and making coloured glass sculpture at an architectural scale since commencing her business Studio Tangerine more than two decades ago. She incorporates light industrial processes within her studio to generate a unique range of works and is constantly seeking new opportunities to collaborate in contemporary building installation.
STATEMENT OF ART:
Design provides an effective syntax of articulation within the physical world. From everyday to sublime aspects of human endeavor we ascribe these systems with the intention of design, and benefit enormously from a shared global vocabulary. Art is part of the same dialogue of interaction, adding dimension to description and I believe cannot be separated out as different from, rather is part of our contemporary cultural condition, the two terms often working as interchangeable constructs.
