Yet to most of the non-designers and artists, these creatives are just the same. It’s the thin line between the two that defines the difference. Designers solve a problem. Artists purely express. With artists, any form of expression could be just as good. It’s subjective, requires no language, just self-expression. Designers on one hand undergo a process, provide solutions that meet defined standards, and still keep that artistic approach to make all else aesthetically appealing. Good designs don’t just happen. There always has to be an underlying reason and purpose at the back of every detail.
