Given the climate changes that are happening, I feel it is important to document these changes in an esthetic way. My photographs find a nice home in showing the microscopic world (having won awards in microscopy) and takes us on a voyage to our own planet, but at a different scale. I am interested in form and function. Creating a piece of furniture that has a sculptural aspect that is also functional is my goal. During my career I owned an operated a woodworking company and we had 100 stores that carried our craft products. The designs were "warm" and featured a variety of wood products to highlight the beauty of the natural world and how that can be integrated into everyday life.
