STATEMENT OF ART: Design Follows Technique. In this visual world beauty is not enough. For me it is important to include extra benefits in design. This extra benefit I search in the techniques in which I build my designs on. These techniques give the design extra possibilities to construct and to adjust, but of more importance is the way the public encounters the concept of form. This they can experience by seeing or using one single object, but by placing multiple objects in relation to eachother the installation generates much more fascination. This is what design is about: captivation, offering solutions, easy to apply, quality, ingenuity, ... in order to please the user or spectator.
