With 20 years of diverse experience in designing, Luca Matta has a multiple international award winning works. His curiosity nature and design passion has created LMD in 2009 in Treviso, Italy and now, in 2018, opens a new studio in Shanghai, China.
LMD provides design projects from interior, exhibition, furniture, industrial, visual merchandising to architecture concept. Our design approach is to adapt to environment, to society, to different culture and yet functional to our client's needs. Our mission is to bring our different approach to the design world by avoiding fixed design dogma and “Fashion Icon Design”.

1998 ACCADEMY OF ARTS, VENICE, ITALY - degree in set design and interior design
EXPERIENCE:
Working experiences from 1990 to 1996 in the technical study of architecture 5/82 of Treviso.
october-december-99 assistant set designer to the theatre stable of Genoa for the staging of the show of prose "the lame in inishmaan" of MC. donagh, directed by M. sciaccaluga.
Work experience, as set designer maker in the Fenice Theatre in Venice by Teach. Paolin.
From 1997 is co-worker in the technical study of design 5/82 of Treviso- ’Arch. Guido Matta and Roberto Varaschin.

1999 Competion of ideas finalized to the project of a new technologic and cultural centre.-

2000 Competion of ideas proclaimed by the municipality of Florence finalized to the project of a stand in the Florence multiettnic market.

2003 Partecipation to the competion of ideas proclaimed by the company PROMOSEDIA in Udine: “A wood chair design””.
2004 Partecipation to the competion of ideas proclaimed by the company GIALLO NETWORK in Milan: “Chairs and tables design””.
Result: classified to the first place for the “Antani” chair design ( Armet company in Udine)
2006-2007 Partecipation to the competition “Wood ingeniously”.
2007 Partecipation to the competition proclaimed from the company “Webert”specialized on bathroom furnitures and bathroom accessories design.
Result: mention as good project at the official exposition.
2009 Partecipation to the competition proclaimed from the company “Axolute Design” specialized on bathroom furnitures and bathroom accessories design
Result: classified to the second place .
2010 Partecipation to the competition proclaimed from the company “Coca Cola contest”.
