FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
AT: I have always wanted to be a designer. I like beautiful things, but over the years, I realised that beauty, does not necessarily mean aesthetics. Something that is well made and functional, can make the users feel good too. and That is a form of beauty. I went to to complete a Bachelors degree in Industrial Design, and have explored multiple disciplines since then, including Branding, Visual Merchandising and Interior Design. I am currently exploring the field of user experience design.
FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
AT: Allan Toh Studio creates designs with a sole purpose in mind- to be relevant to the end-user. The scope of work includes Branding, Graphic Design, and other forms of Visual Communications.
