DESIGN NAME: Simply Creative Mansion
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House
INSPIRATION: Since it was vital to awaken the client’s artistic senses in this project, nature was the most convenient source of inspiration. Large window panels were introduced to maximize open spaces and exposure of natural light. It was the design’s main purpose to be constantly exposed to the stunning surrounding of the landscape.
We have been also inspired by the clients’ career in movie making through mixing wood with the colored glass handrail that beautifully reflects the sunrays in multiple colors.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project was a 2-story house whose owners were a couple who wanted a design that would make their home fully functional yet also enjoyable.
The design created a subtle film-making ambiance for the husband who was a film producer while integrating colour and energy according to his wife’s demands. The colored glass railing is an icon that arrays colored sunrays onto the warm-toned living room. A landscape design with a swimming pool along with a calm mediation area were also integrated.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: -
CHALLENGE: The husband desired a simple design to reveal his artistic senses, while his spouse demanded a design that is completely far from simplicity. She requested colors and energy all over the house. Therefore, it was challenging in this project not only to compromise the two different needs, but also to beautifully blend both of them in a magical and smooth way. The challenging technique was in mixing simple furniture with pop-up colors in pillows, rugs and handrails to satisfy both tastes.
