| DESIGN NAME: Autumn Rhythm PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Interior Design INSPIRATION: A sensual pleasure of the never-ending cycle of the four seasons is thereby incorporated into the rational and orderly space, presenting rich gradations while leaving something blank to resemble the void in a landscape painting. It is like having a dialogue with nature and adding serenity to the space, connoting a designing vocabulary of toned-down luxury. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: We construct for our clients, a couple who are about to retire, a space in imitation of nature that is serene and unruffled, after the long seafaring days. Autumn Rhythm is like a stroll in an autumn woods, with the evening sun slanting through the trees, recounting tales of days gone by. The flow of time and the maturity of years are like autumn days. It's a tranquil life force that, after trials and struggles, reminds people of where they have started long ago. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To show the unique style of each section, custom-made cabinets, complete with the neat grilles, not only cleverly modify the beams and pillars, but conceal the wiring and the switch box and resemble the lines and light and shadow in the woods as well. The grand floor kitchen island in the living room perfectly fit with the dining table. Its stone texture accurately links with a different material on the table top, so that there is a visual extension and spatial expansion. As for functionality, the embedded thermoregulated wine cabinets hold vintage wine collection to meet the hospitable host and hostess' needs of enjoying themselves at home, sampling life or receiving guests. The aesthetic style continues into the three bedrooms. The combination of the forms of the cabinetry, lighting, upholstery and wall paintings contributes to coziness and rich gradation. Romanticism hidden in mellowness makes each corner and section at home a unique and beautiful landscape. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The space, visual attention and flow are specifically designed to satisfy the needs in everyday life. As pets might cause scratches, nano smart materials are used on all the white door panels of the cabinets in the living room, as their special hotfix function can undo the scratches on the surface. In addition, the custom-made sofa, from the fabric of its upholstery and the softness of the foam inside is adjusted in accordance with the methods and specifications of tailor-made furniture, until the hostess is fully satisfied. In this way, the sofa is a favorite and restful place in the space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 109 square meter TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Furthermore, humanistic concern is evident in the choice of healthy materials. Non-toxic, eco-friendly paints from Europe are used on the ceilings and walls. Mite-proof screen windows of new technology maintain good indoor air quality and effectively filter cancer-causing PM2.5 in the air. Materials, furniture and devices such as sun-block curtains, water filters for the entire household, and so on, are specifically selected for healthy living. In so doing, the dwellers of Autumn Rhythm can enjoy the functions and convenience brought by cutting-edge technology.
