DESIGN NAME: Fine Texture Home
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Interior Design
INSPIRATION: As for the choice of stone materials, we tried constantly and went to places where stone materials were produced to find the most ideal ones. Even after the masonry work was done, we had remove it if it didn't prove as good as expected. All of these show that we strive for nothing but the best. Unlike the design in other residences, which works first on spatial arrangement and working of its style and then proceeds to the choice of furnishing.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design of the residence features simple modern lines combined with diverse materials and elaborate decorations, thus making for a style of light-luxury that is low-profile but with various details. The expanse of its space within commands a mountain-and-water vista of city, on which we have decided to base the design.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To have a continuous flow, the living room and the dining room are situated in the middle of the whole residence, while the worship room and the living room are interconnected without a wall. In so doing, the French windows can be aligned as well, so that the mountains and shady groves can be enjoyed thoroughly from within. As the glass windows blur the space within and without, one can clearly sense the seasonal changes as time goes by.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This project does it the other way around, by working with an Italian furnishing brand first. At the start of the design we worked on the furnishing style and the choice of different items, and took into consideration how spatial design could match to achieve the best visual effects. All in all, we have worked from a unique angle - to be in the users' shoes and put everything in perspective, from changes in the natural environment to small furnishing components.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We combined with multiple sources of light, a versatile and enriched decorative lexicon is constructed. In addition, in such places as the public space, the guest rooms and the audio-visual room, fun in space is added by means of vibrant, sprightly elements such as high-saturated red sofas and refreshing bluish-green closets.
CHALLENGE: The most eye-catching part of the design is the main wall of the living room, which starts at the foyer and proceeds diagonally into the living room. On the one hand, it serves as a flow to usher people in. On the other hand, it creates a three-dimensional visual penetration. Its parameterized brick components are hand- made using fine concrete. Through different means of collage, an even and systematic pile-up of three-dimensional triangular bricks is presented. This is used in the wall designs in the foyer, the living room, and the dining room.
