| DESIGN NAME: Shangrao Seazen Wuyue Plaza PRIMARY FUNCTION: Nightscape Lighting Design INSPIRATION: Base on the design concept of confluence of three rivers， the overall layout of Shangrao Wuyue Plaza displays geographical features of Shangrao river system and the combination of local architectural characteristics. We combine typical canola flower of Shangrao, elements refined from ancient residential building with modern fashion elements on the building façade perfectly. It just likes a dreamy field or countryside with miles of flowers, where people can wander around leisurely. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The urban main road, Fenghuang avenue, is on the north side of the project site, connecting Shangrao city and Shangrao county. The west and south sides of the site are the secondary urban main roads, Xuri avenue and Liuqi Road. And the east side is the planned branch road, Dongsheng road. With convenient transportation around the project, people can reach the core areas of the city quickly. The total site area is 137,377 square meters, the gross floor area is 607,749 square meters. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Combined with the effect, investment, operation, maintenance and other comprehensive factors of luminaire, we choose cost-effective brand lamps to control the total cost reasonably. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2017 in Shenzhen and finished in June 2019 in Shangrao. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Lighting Products and Fixtures Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Energy-saving measures for lighting Intelligent lighting control system is adopted to arrange and set the operation mode of the lighting scene and operate economically as required. Luminaire use environmental light sources, fluorescent lamp and LED lamp, with long service life and good luminous efficacy. In order to reduce energy consumption and the impact of temperature on the environment when lights get turned on, to avoid overlapping and wasting of light, we arrange the luminaire scientifically and reasonably with minimum quantity. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Use of luminaire: 18W LED spotlight, 70W metal halide underground light, 0.9W LED module, 0.9W led module, 15W LED linear wall washer and so on. TAGS: Building facade RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Two modes of light operation Daily operation mode: refers to the lighting that meets the basic lighting and safety protection function. Festival operation mode: lighting that highlights festivals. CHALLENGE: Design theme Elements of Shangrao’s water culture, dragon culture and building façade are integrated into the nightscape lighting design of Wuyue Plaza. With curtain wall facade as the carrier, points, streamlines, light and shadow in different combination forms the enjoyable lighting, which makes up Jiangnan scenery of three rivers flowing together and Shangrao wandering in flowers.
