RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Type of research: developing decorative and functional furniture item
Research Objectives: creating art pieces (table), going beyong functionality
Method: During the process, the intention was to evoke its raw, geometric and clean forms with wood and metals, being the circle in all of its views, angles and sections that influenced the most.
Result: resulting in moonshapes repeating all over
Effect of the research in real life: when the moonland table is receiving the correct ambient ligh, all the moon shadows become visible, resulting in a magical experience.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to create art pieces with character. I wanted my tables to be capable to shine by themselves and stand out without the need of a decorative accent. Hoping to result in art pieces going beyond functionality.
