| DESIGN NAME: Paty PRIMARY FUNCTION: Pet trolley INSPIRATION: Pet owners perceive pet care as a whole experience. Having a pet, in that sense, not only provides emotional satisfaction to the owner but also motivates the owner for offering high-quality services to their loved ones. Paty, aims to fulfil a neglected part in that experience, namely the logistics of pets which can be burdensome on many occasions for the owner. Paty provides a pleasuring and luxurious excursion with pets. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Paty is an innovative trolley design for pet owners. It lets owners to carry their little friends conveniently almost everywhere. Paty is unique for its appearance and cosy style. With its neat and expressive appearance, this trolley makes it fun to walk around with the pet mates OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This pet trolley has a durable shell which contains double Plexiglas folding windows. These windows let the owners place their pets in the Paty with ease. The big wheels and telescopic handle used in this unique design let a comfortable experience for the pet owners during their excursions. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project started 6 months ago in September 2019 and still in progress. The conceptual design has almost finished. The prototyping and usability tests will be done in next 6 months. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Paty uses state of the art materials in its design. The polypropylene cabin is light and resistant to scratching and dents. Soft liner and thick wheels perform well even in rough surfaces with their anti-vibration feature. The linear holes in the body ensure the ventilation and comfort for the pet inside. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Product size is 75cm length, 45cm with and 55cm height. NAME: T2 Design Team PROFILE: T2 is a design team, located in Ankara. Seçil Toros and Tolga Metin both industrial designers set up the team to find fresh approaches for new challenges. Toros has her PhD in communication sciences and Metin continues his PhD studies in 3D modelling and graphic design. |
