PRIMARY FUNCTION: Store
INSPIRATION: Heytea, as a famous national chain milk tea brand direct store, each of its stores emphasizes a unique sense of design. The operator hopes to reinterpret the traditional tea culture and create a new tea brand with the help of the new concept presented by the design language, so that the customers who taste tea in the store can enjoy a relaxed and comfortable leisure time.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This Heytea store takes the encounter between time and space as the theme, uses galvanized sheet as the main material, and cleverly uses the original style of material selection to build a dreamlike tunnel of time and space. Using the skillful design language, clear design ideas and profound aesthetic skills, the designer splices the space ideology with simple geometric prototype, outlines the smooth lines with modern abstract meaning, and presents the time and space interlacing.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The unique shape of the front door and the visual effects of rigidity and softness are flawlessly matched with the brand's emphasis on Zen, inspiration, cool and design.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2019 in Huizhou and finished in June 2019 in Huizhou.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The designer displays the brand logo of Heytea by using galvanized sheet in a large area, which is consistent with the simplicity and elegance advocated by Heytea brand. The galvanized sheet with variable texture also enriches the visual level, avoiding the monotony brought by single color, and the strong metal texture also lays a heavy modern industrial style for the overall building.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 250 square meters.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Throughout this case, the design concept is a fusion of old and new elements, the architectural style is cold and clear, elegant and atmospheric , the visual effect is ancient and modern, not only perfectly presents the theme of "encounterspace-time", but also promotes the taste of fashion milk tea shop to the level of art teahouse, creating a completely different milk tea brand, so that the store's individual expressive graps people's attention.
CHALLENGE: In order to neutralize the too rigid visual effect of material selection and modeling design, the designer displays a row of clusters of reeds in the floor-to-ceiling window. At the same time the galvanized sheet above the reeds was cut into the shape of the reeds, so that the strong visual conflict is formed between the strong material and soft modeling.
