DESIGN NAME: Comfortable Life
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House
INSPIRATION: The design concept is to realize the user's expectations of home, introduce light into the space, use natural stone, warm veneer and soft furniture colors to create a comfortable atmosphere, present a simple, pure living environment to the meet user preferences.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In this space, there is a forest outdoors, so large windows are designed to introduce green and light into the room, and let the materials in the room present a three-dimensional effect through the light.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Choose cold-toned natural stone to paste on the walls and floors, match the natural wood finish to present a simple and pure space texture, and then use special gray and dark brown wall materials and soft white and light pink home decor to add a sense of space and fashion.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in Taipei City, Taiwan.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This homeowner is a doctor who works in a high-pressure environment and needs a comfortable decompression environment when returning home. Therefore, the design uses a warm mid-light color tone to present the home atmosphere, and uses elegant natural stone on the main wall of the living room to express Professional status of doctor.
CHALLENGE: The advantage of this space is an outdoor forest. The challenge when designing is how to bring the outdoor scenery into the interior. Therefore, the design method is to use the penetrating wall to make the living room, study, and dining space of the public space transparent. Introduce outdoor views into the interior through large windows without shelter.
