| DESIGN NAME: La Moitie PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multi Commercial Space INSPIRATION: La Moitie,the project name comes from the French word meaning of half,half is a homophonic mate in Chinese,meaning partner.Through the analysis and positioning of this brand,we use Square and Circle,Mild Pink and Black as the basic elements to express the inner connection between half and mate. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: La Moitie is a multi commercial space,featuring fancy restaurant and designer showroom.It's owned by a couple with obvious contrast senses of style,by which inspired the design concept the half makes for each other. So through this project, there are always two twisted styles leading the way of design. Contrast but perfectly match elements such as shape, color, character together harmoniously fixed in this whole space and brought viewer a dramatic space experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the existing business system, brands with unique identification are more likely to succeed. Our aim is to provide better advantages for the brand beyond the basic-functions-need PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2018 in Guangzhou and finished in March 2019 in Guangzhou, and was launched in Panyu District Guangzhou in October 2019. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Terrazzo,fiber-reinf SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Size (m2): 326 TAGS: Catering, Fashion, experience, pink, black, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the initial stage of the project research, the concept and style of pink space were derived from Rococo art, such as the Bavarian Church, Versailles, etc. We found that to achieve the fine craftsmanship of the Rococo period, it required expensive materials and plenty of time, it was overflows the client's budget needs. So we tried 3d printing technology and fulfilled our detailed requirements within a week. Based on this success, we will use more 3D printing technology for other projects. CHALLENGE: In the beginning of the concept, the most difficult challenge was the collision relationship between black and pink. We hope that this space is one, and we also hope that this integrated space can be clearly divided into two characteristics spaces. After many analyses, we finally adopted a spiral staircase structure to connect pink and black. To this end, we even removed the original floor structure and raised the entire first floor space.
